The reports listed in this document were submitted to the U.S. Department of Justice, National Institute of Justice as required under the terms of the funding received as part of the Forensic DNA Backlog Reduction Program. The first part of the report lists the Fiscal Year 2010 (FY2010) recipients, the Federal grant award number, and the amount awarded under the program. The recipients include State and county agencies, sheriffs' offices, attorney generals offices, police agencies at the State, county, and local levels, and university research centers. Following the listing of the FY2010 award recipients are the abstracts of the final reports submitted for each program. For all projects, the preliminary information lists the FY2010 recipient's name, the Federal award number, and the award amount. Under the final report section, information is provided on the goals and objectives of the project, and progress reports for four time periods: October 1, 2010 - December 31, 2010; January 1, 2011 - June 30, 2011; July 1, 2011 - December 31, 2011; and January 1, 2012 - June 30, 2012.
