Celebrate Safe Communities
Safe communities are the result of law enforcement working with residents as equal partners in preventing crime. In recognition of this principle, the Office of Justice Programs' Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), National Crime Prevention Council (NCPC), and National Sheriffs' Association (NSA) have joined together to Celebrate Safe Communities (CSC).
In coordination with these efforts to promote community safety, citizen crime prevention and volunteer efforts throughout the country during Celebrate Safe Communities Week, NCJRS presents this compilation of resources related to creating and maintaining safer communities.
