      <title>Solicitation for Broadcast/DVD Production Announced</title>
      <description>The National Institute of Corrections has released a&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="http://community.nicic.org/blogs/nic/ProductionSolicitation.pdf"&gt;solicitation&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;to fund production of four satellite/Internet broadcasts and three DVDs. Three of the proposed satellite programs are nationwide satellite/Internet broadcasts (3 hours each) and the fourth will be an 8-hour live broadcast for trainers and facilitators on &amp;ldquo;How to Use the Developed DVD.&amp;rdquo; Application must be received by December 1, 2009.

The National Institute of Correction's Prisons Division has released a&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="http://community.nicic.org/blogs/nic/System%20Coop%20Soliciation.pdf"&gt;solicitation&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;for a cooperative agreement: A &amp;ldquo;Systems Approach&amp;rdquo; for Workforce Performance - Curriculum Development. The applicant selected will develop and field test a 36-hour curriculum to train multidisciplinary staff in state correctional and prison systems.
