Consider tapping into the communication resources of local civic groups such as the Boys and Girls Club, Lions Club, AmeriCorps, Project Safe Neighborhoods task forces, and school organizations. These organizations and programs, along with others, might have established partnerships with the media that help them reach the same audiences you're trying to reach.
Ask these organizations to list your events on their calendars and to place articles about Weed and Seed in their newsletters, including a brief description of your Weed and Seed initiative and a link to your Web site or other contact information.
