In addition to the training provided through NCMEC, OJJDP awarded FVTC a 3-year cooperative agreement to provide training and technical assistance to law enforcement, prosecutors, and health and family services professionals. FVTC offers five courses: Responding to Missing and Abducted Children, Child Sexual Exploitation Investigations, Child Abuse and Exploitation Investigative Techniques, Missing and Exploited Children, and Child Abuse and Exploitation Team Investigation Process. During FY 1998, FVTC offered 25 regional training programs, provided training for 5,000 individuals, and responded to 47 requests for technical assistance.
