American College of Forensic Examiners International (ACFEI) Continuing Education
The ACFEI Continuing Education Program offers postgraduate, needs-based educational activities in forensics.
Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) Law Enforcement Training Database (LETD)
The LETD is a catalog of Federally funded and supported training available to State and local law enforcement officials. Each database listing includes the training provider, a course description, eligibility criteria, and contact information.
Criminal Justice Institute: Forensic Sciences and Computer Education Center
To educate law enforcement personnel, crime scene specialists, prosecuting attorneys, medicolegal death investigators, and forensic science specialists, the Criminal Justice Institute has developed a series of programs that emphasize the critical need to secure a crime scene and protect the integrity of its forensic evidence.
FBI Academy Forensic Science Research and Training Center
The Forensic Science Research and Training Center is a section of the FBI Laboratory Division which supports the FBI Laboratory Forensic Science Training Unit. The Training Center provides forensic training to new FBI and DEA agents, the National Academy, FBI in-service students, and personnel from Federal, State, and local law enforcement agencies, including crime laboratories. Additionally, it supports the FBI laboratory with forensic science research and quality assurance functions.
Forensic Science Training Institute
The institute advances the forensic science/criminal justice profession through education, basic and advanced training, and promotion of the highest standards of professional practice. Courses offered include crime scene management, death investigations, forensic serology/DNA evidence, and trace evidence.
Forensic Science Virtual Academy
The vision for this project is to design, develop, and implement a structured, efficient, electronically delivered system of learning that adds value to the forensic science community by providing individuals and organizations access to consistent training and materials relating to evidence.
International Criminal Investigative Training Assistance Program (ICITAP)
ICITAP consists of coordinated, comprehensive training activities and technical assistance that would assist the host government to select and/or develop the management of a forensic laboratory. Emphasis is placed on establishing quality assurance programs to ensure the highest quality work product from every section of the laboratory.
National Law Enforcement and Corrections Technology Center (NLECTC)
NLECTC is a component of the National Institute of Justice's (NIJ) Office of Science and Technology. NLECTC offers training assistance to law enforcement agencies and correctional institutions on crime mapping, bomb training, prison riots, and new technology in the field.
President's DNA Initiative Training
This site provides training courses and resources on DNA evidence to assist forensic scientists, officers and investigators, medical personnel, officers of the court, and victim advocates.
Regional Computer Forensics Program (RCFL)
RCFL is a full service forensics laboratory devoted entirely to the examination of digital evidence in support of criminal investigations, such as, terrorism, child pornography, crimes of violence, the theft or destruction of intellectual property, internet crimes, and fraud.
Sexual Assault Resource Service (SARS)
SARS is available to nurses who want to get trained and certified to offer services to sexually abused victims. SARS also offers numerous conferences and trainings throughout the United States.
