Operation Broken Heart Targets Online Child Predators | OJJDP

Online/internet use image Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Forces arrested 1,140 child predators from 41 states during a two-month, nationwide operation. More than 3,000 federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies participated in the operation.

What is a Hate Crime? | NCJRS

The Hate Crime Statistics Act, passed in 1990, defines these targeted victimizations as “crimes that manifest evidence of prejudice based on race, gender or gender identity, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or ethnicity.”
