  Annotation: This guide reports on the latest updates and additions to materials on the Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS) website; in addition to traditional paper publications, BJS is electronically publishing a variety of materials, including statistical graphics and spreadsheets, on its website.
  Abstract: The guide outlines all the materials available on the website and not otherwise published. Users who do not have Internet access can order the materials highlighted in the guide from the BJS Clearinghouse, while Internet users can always find the most recent information about updates and additions to the website on "What's New at BJS." The BJS website presents information in multiple ways--topically, chronologically, and alphabetically. Every publication produced by BJS in the last few years is available electronically according to the following categories: Key Crime and Justice Facts at a Glance, Crime and Justice Electronic Data Abstracts, Homicide Trends in the United States, Drugs and Crime Facts, Trends in Juvenile Violence, BJS assessments of customer needs and usage, papers in support of the National Incident Based Reporting System, and spreadsheets that support publications. Appendixes contain sample pages from Key Facts at a Glance and Crime and Justice Electronic Data Abstracts. 2 tables and 6 figures
