Abstract
Data show the State's major crime rates and violent crime rates as well as arrests during 1985 by race, sex, and age. Overall clearance rates and clearance rates by offense are also provided. Felony convictions are presented by felony class and adjudication method (guilty plea, judge, or jury). Police and corrections per capita expenses for the fiscal year ending June 1984 are also provided. The report concludes with a discussion of data sources and methodology. 4 maps and 13 data figures.
