This manual presents the codebook, methodology, and descriptive summary for a 1979-1980 study that compared case processing in nine courts in Michigan, Illinois, and Pennsylvania.
Abstract
The study examined the characteristics of officials involved in case processing. Data were collected on the cases and defendants, the officials involved in the cases, personality characteristics of the officials, and the perceptions officials had of one another. There were 7,475 cases and 264 variables.
