The feelings of contemporary police professionals are examined as they relate to the demands of modern policing.
Abstract
Frustrations which develop out of organizational constraints are explored, and the failure of accepted managerial strategies are outlined. Suggestions are made to improve the managerial skills of police administrators, and the potential benefits of such improvements are indicated. (Author abstract)
