ODYSSEY HOUSE UTILIZES EX-ADDICT COUNSELORS COMBINED WITH INTENSIVE PSYCHIATRIC INTERVENTION AND TREATMENT. THE AUTHOR SUGGESTS THAT CIVIL COMMITMENT TO DRUG TREATMENT PROGRAMS WILL AFFORD MORE INDIVIDUALIZED TREATMENT.
