The STA, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education Alcohol and Drug Abuse Education Program, is a national network of training and resource centers that train teams of school and community representatives in problemsolving techniques that help schools develop programs for youth, particularly programs to reduce alcohol and drug abuse among students.
