A unique population of the most violent psychiatric inmate patients was found to obtain excellent results with high doses of neuroleptics, over long periods of time, for resolution of their psychoses and prevention of relapse.
Abstract
Fluphenazine decanoate proved to be an excellent medication for the usually noncompliant inmate. Various therapies were also a necessary adjunct to the medication. (Publisher abstract)
