Abstract
DATA ELEMENTS OUTLINED INCLUDE AN INTRODUCTION, DEPARTMENTAL AWARDS AND RECOGNITIONS, DESCRIPTION OF THE AREA SERVED, DEPARTMENTAL DESCRIPTION, ENFORCEMENT ACTIVITIES IN THE AREAS OF AREAS OF TRAFFIC AND CRIME, AND TIME UTILIZATION. SUCH DATA IS DESIGNED TO PROVIDE VALUABLE MANAGEMENT INFORMATION FOR DEPARTMENTAL SELF-EVALUATION, ESPECIALLY IN SUCH AREAS AS RESOURCE ALLOCATION, RESPONSE TO COMMUNITY NEEDS, AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE BEST METHODS OF IDENTIFYING, CAPTURING, AND USING ALL AVAILABLE INFORMATION FOR MANAGEMENT PURPOSES.
