Abstract
The film begins by examining the class of drugs known as stimulants, ranging from the relatively mild caffeine to the powerful 'meth,' and describes the effects of xanthines, amphetamines, and cocaine. Illegal use of these drugs is discussed, and the inherent dangers of misuse are examined. The film then considers narcotics, tracing the development and use of morphine and heroin.
