Abstract
The book portrays Sis and Chris as they meet Temptor, who represents evil influence and temptation. By saying 'no' to drugs, Chris and Sis make Temptor disappear. Knowbots, headlining the captions at the top of each page, provide information on taking care of oneself, the appropriate use of medically prescribed drugs, and the dangers of alcohol, cigarettes, and drugs. They also warn against the attempts of peers or older persons to encourage drug use, emphasize that it takes strength and courage to say 'no,' and suggest telling an adult about offers of drugs. The coloring book incorporates learning and value systems that necessitate the participation of an adult to provide maximum benefit to the child. The adult should reinforce responses and read and reread the text before, during, and after coloring. A song and back cover poster are included to sustain and support the refusal of drugs and drug abuse. Glossary.
