THE PAMPHLET DISCUSSES REASONS FOR THE NEW DISCIPLINARY PROCEDURES. IT REVIEWS THE INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF EMPLOYEES (INVESTIGATING OFFICER, SUPERINTENDENT, ETC.) AT DIFFERENT LEVELS OF THE CORRECTIONAL SYSTEM. REFERRALS ARE MADE TO SECTIONS OF THE NORTH CAROLINA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTION GUIDEBOOK. SAMPLES OF FORMS WHICH MUST BE FILLED OUT BY CORRECTIONAL STAFF ARE INCLUDED, I.E., INVESTIGATION REPORTS, STATEMENT BY WITNESS FORMS, STATEMENT OF CHARGES, RECORD OF HEARING AND REVIEW, AND COMMENT IN REGARD TO OFFENSE REPORT.
