Sectional meeting papers focused on special services for mentally ill inmates in Bermuda and the development of creative rehabilitative programs for female offenders. A meeting paper delivered to the Litigation Section outlined methods for achieving compliance with court orders and consent decrees while a meeting paper delivered to the Training Section described how corrections officers can be properly trained in the discretionary use of deadly force. The Special Programs section included papers on treating post-traumatic stress disorder, assessing inmate organizations, and evaluating inmates for substance abuse programs.
