Although children under six constitute a large number of sexual abuse victims, their immature intellectual and emotional development can severely hinder efforts to validate reported or suspected abuse.
Abstract
Interviewing with anatomical dolls offers a potential avenue of communication if interviewers are trained to use the dolls with care and an understanding of both their value and misuse. This article provides a full set of guidelines. (Publisher abstract)
