This report presents demographic data on the 28 persons on death row throughout the United States as of August 1, 1988, for crimes committed while under age 18.
Abstract
These 28 death row inmates constitute 1.3 percent of the total number (2,110) of persons on death row. All 28 were sentenced to death for murder. The States having these offenders on death row are Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Missouri, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, and Texas. The name of each inmate is provided by State, followed by information on race, age at the time of the crime, current age, offense characteristics, victim characteristics, crime location, and date sentenced.
