Abstract
This paper examines the future of the victim and witness movement and compares findings from two national surveys of victim and witness projects conducted in 1975 and 1979. The presentation concludes that support for victim and witness projects is increasing outside of the law enforcement community, a sign that assistance to victims of crime includes more diverse groups and interests.
