Part one provides an historical sketch of drug misuse and drug classification and control. Part two deals with the importation and exportation of controlled drugs, emphasizing what constitutes unlawful importation and exportation as well as fraudulent evasions. Part three discusses the law of possession, supply, and production of drugs. Part four outlines the legal elements of conspiracy to commit a drug offense and attempting to commit drug offense. Part five deals with enforcement, emphasizing the powers of police and customs officers, the provisions of the Drug Trafficking Act 1986, and powers of forfeiture and sentencing. Part six provides a practical guide to drug misuse, and part seven lists statutory bodies charged with developing and enforcing British drug misuse policies and laws.
