Annotation
This publication, intended to help rape crisis centers and sexual assault treatment and services programs obtain funding, lists possible sources of support in the federal government and the private sector.
Abstract
The publication is divided into three parts. Part one lists those Federal agencies or programs administered directly from the federal level that could provide grants, contracts, or research, services, or training grants to sexual assault treatment programs. Federal sources of block grants administered through State and local governments are also identified. Part two identifies those private funding sources that have an interest in projects for women and programs or organizations that will provide assistance to those looking for private funding sources. Part three contains appendixes, including a bibliograpy of funding resources, and annotated grant proposal outline, and information on fundraising approaches.
