A common concern of facility managers is the safety of their employees and the protection of property.
Abstract
One determinant of the level of crime, a facility can expect to experience, is the crime-generating nature of neighboring facilities. To date, this has received little research attention. This article is an examination of the reasons we can expect facilities with specific locational characteristics to attract the criminal elements of our society. (Publisher abstract)
