This booklet reports on the activities and results of the California Juvenile Justice Community Resources II Workshop, which provided information on and examples of results and the broad impact of public/private partnerships in the development of community resources for juvenile justice.
Abstract
At the workshop, presentations were made by representatives from four juvenile justice community resource programs currently operating in the State. Teams from six additional counties then met separately to develop plans for the implementation of similar programming in their communities. At the conclusion of the workshop, counties presented their proposed action plans to all participants. Workshops focused on public/private partnerships, the development of community resources boards, fund raising, referrals, assessment, and providers. Actions plans for community program development are outlined for Fresno County, Orange County, San Francisco County, Santa Clara County, Santa Cruz County, and Solano County. Appended workshop schedule, participant list.
