This document provides architectural drawings, diagrams, and information on innovative design and planning efforts for recent justice facility projects.
Abstract
Projects depicted were undertaken in 20 States and included prison camps, detention facilities, prisons, family law and justice centers, police and sheriff's facilities, courts, legal services buildings, youth centers, multifacility complexes, and youth service centers. Facilities include municipal, regional, State, and Federal structures. Correctional institutions for both juveniles and adults include those for minimum, medium, and maximum security classifications. Information provided for the projects include an architect's statement, owner information, credits, and data on site and building area, construction costs, and completion dates.
