Abstract
The bibliography includes published material from 1961 to 1985 and is extensive but not exhaustive. It is intended to update the bibliography included in Freedom and Responsibility: Readings in Philosophy and Law, edited by Herbert Morris and published in 1961 by the Stanford University Press. The bibliographer points out that material in the general subject of moral and legal responsibility is vast and includes such major areas as responsibility under certain kinds of situations and circumstances, collective responsibility, the responsibility of a State, and the insanity defense.
