This report: (1) provides an analysis of violent crime issues previously unexamined in Virginia; (2) presents comprehensive review of several years' worth of crime data; and (3) uses many different sources of information in order to provide a more complete picture of violent crime in Virginia than has previously been published in a visually accessible graphic format.
