Abstract
Bibliographic entries cover anger, hostility, and depression in domestic violence and social research on family violence incidence and causes. Entries specifically cite studies of battered and pregnant women, whether arrest deters wife battery, elder abuse, family training in crime and violence, homicidal wives, whether family violence is preventable, cohabitation in woman battering relationships, victims and aggressors in marital violence, and the use of police services by battered women. Entries also address State policies and practices related to elder abuse and national surveys of societal change and family violence from 1975 to 1985. Each bibliographic entry is accompanied by an abstract of the document and relevant subject descriptors.
