Abstract
Additional tables show the employment and expenditures of correctional agencies, employee organizations, and juvenile corrections statistics. Other data cover the movement of prisoners, inmate populations by levels of security, death row inmates, the numbers of juveniles under supervision, and the characteristics of youths in long-term juvenile institutions. Most data are given as of June 30, 1988. Trends and projections are also given.
