A human face photo-base management system using microcomputer IBM-PC/XT has been developed.
Abstract
The computerized management system that combines data information with image information is being used in an attempt to manage criminal information. The system not only includes criminal files but their face photos as well. The photo-base can be integrated with other databases and can transmit the relative information using the special data channel. Mug shots are searched using both keywords such as occupational title, specific name, age or address, and/or witness description. The hardware configuration, software design, and prospects for the management system are described. 4 figures. (Author abstract modified)
