This document uses flowcharts, text, and color photographs to review the drug and crime relationship from the growing and processing of the substance to the police programs used to halt its use to the various therapy treatments for those persons already addicted.
Abstract
Section one looks at police drug crime programs in West Germany, Europe, and the United States, while section two delineates the ways that drug use may lead to crime. Section three describes the various drugs in detail including color pictures of the plants. In section four, the criminal aspects of drug versus other crime types are detailed, while section five suggests ways to prevent and curtail drug-related crimes, and section six examines the psychological motivation in drug therapy. Section seven is a comprehensive dictionary of both German and English drug language, and section eight summarizes information on countries that have the death penalty for drug crimes.
