Abstract
The 1984 legislation permits fingerprinting and photographing juveniles prosecuted as adults and allows a court to transfer to the FBI information about juveniles twice adjudicated guilty of violent felonies. The news media are denied access to the photograph and name of a juvenile delinquent unless the juvenile is being prosecuted as an adult. 18 footnotes.
