Action is needed in the private sector and on a national level. Recommendations include identification and intervention for at-risk youth; improved services for runaway youths, such as outreach programs and shelters; expanded information systems for missing children; development of community systems for prevention and early intervention; and the development of a National Youth and Family Policy. Conference session abstracts, selected excerpts and reports, program schedules, and faculty and participant lists are included.
