It is well recognized that private security plays an important role in asset protection; yet, there is limited understanding regarding the protection practices of proprietary security services.
Abstract
Retail security managers possess definite attitudes toward security problems, and the approaches necessary to shape policy in the proprietary security setting. Based on a study of 45 retail security managers located in California and Arizona, selected operating policies and patterns are presented. 4 references, 4 tables. (Author abstract)
