Annotation
This cumulative supplement updates the third edition of the Criminal Law Digest and contains 1,400 summaries of State and Federal criminal law cases, decided since publication of the main volume, that focus on substantive and procedural law as well as constitutional issues.
Abstract
Following the organization of the third edition, the supplement employs the same sequence of section numbers to identify topical areas as is found in the main volume. When new topics have been developed from cases decided since the third edition's publication, they are incorporated into the supplement and are assigned new section numbers that reflect the topical organization. Those cases discussed in the Criminal Law Bulletin are cited at the end of the case digest. Part I of the supplement covers State crimes, while Part II covers State criminal procedures and ancillary proceedings. Parts III and IV cover Federal crimes and Federal procedures, respectively. Part V discusses constitutional guarantees. The table of contents lists every section and subsection in the supplement. Additional reader assistance is provided by a cumulative table of cases and a cumulative index.
