Cannabis plants grown on the Danish Island of Bornholm in 1983 were tested for the tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) content.
Abstract
Fruiting tops from plants of various sizes, grown in different locations of the island were used for extraction of THC. The technique used for quantitation and identification was gas chromatography subjected to statistical analysis. A comparison of the results with that of studies from other countries showed that content was similar to that found in Bornholm plants, although recently seized plants from the United Kingdom exhibited a higher THC content. 6 tables, 5 references.
