Abstract
The measures taken by the Narcotics Control Bureau to counter organized crime in the area of drug manufacture and trafficking are studied. Finally, a scrutiny is made of Indian legislation enacted and of the line of action recommended in the Comprehensive Multidisciplinary Outline of Future Activities in Drug Abuse Control adopted in Vienna in 1987. 2 tables, 4 references.
