Information is also provided on sexually transmitted diseases. Part II provides the protocol for cases involving the sexual abuse of children. The treatment plan covers facility, intake, reporting, support personnel, and consent. The interview addresses abuse history, indicators of child sexual abuse, assessment, development considerations for interviewing children, interviewing techniques, and medical history. Medical examination procedures are detailed, and procedures for obtaining and recording post-examination information are described.
