Empirical data is used to demonstrate the observation and quantification of benzoylecgonine in negative test samples when high concentrations of deuterated benzoylecgonine are used as the internal standard in the assay process.
Abstract
On the quantitative determination of true positive samples, inaccuracy introduced by the isotopic impurity of the internal standard is calculated as a function of the impurity and the concentration levels of the internal standard used. (Author abstract)
