This is a study of felony guilty plea rates across 569 courts in seven States in 1986.
Abstract
These rates vary greatly. They tend to increase according to the size of the jurisdiction. These results imply that limiting size of jurisdictions would serve to reduce guilty pleas in American courts. 32 references, 3 tables, 3 figures. (Author abstract)
