Abstract
It is hoped that Oregon schools and communities will find the program descriptions useful in planning and improving programs and services. Each program description identifies a contact point, clients served, program strategies and methods, resources, program history and funding, and program evaluation and followup. Programs encompass early childhood intervention and child development, early childhood education and support, child abuse prevention, teenage parents, and juvenile justice. Programs also include school dropout prevention and associated youth services, alternative education, and alcohol and drug education and treatment. Because the program descriptions are general, the reader is advised to obtain indepth information and assistance directly from the programs themselves.
