On January 19, 1988, the United States Global Strategy Council and the Institute for Studies in International Terrorism in association with University Microfilms Incorporated cosponsored a conference on research into terrorism.
Abstract
During the conference, papers were presented whose topics included: terrorism cost to businesses, terrorism and political violence in the Pacific Basin, legal perspectives of terrorism, objectives of terrorists' issues in terrorism research, and an overview on the War and Ethics program at University of Connecticut. Terrorism is discussed in terms of impact and threat to US security.
