Elementary and secondary school students from four rural school districts responded to a questionnaire measuring incidences and attitudes towards drug and alcohol use.
Abstract
The subjects' responses indicate that social learning theory is a viable theory for explaining drug involvement in the young. The data suggest that intervention with drug and alcohol education programs should begin prior to the onset of adolescence. (Author abstract)
