This workbook for students includes sections entitled Decisions about Growing Up, My Rights, It's the Law, What Do You Know About Drugs, and Consequences of Using and of Choosing Not to Use Drugs. Students are encouraged to think of ways to say no to teasing and friendly pressure to use drugs. There are also sections entitled Why Some Young People Use/Don't Use Drugs, Drugs and the Media, and Advertising Techniques to discourage drug use. Students are provided the opportunity to discuss their stress levels and stressful situations. Choosing friends, identifying support systems, and understanding the choices students make are discussed in detail. Students evaluate the risks and results of certain given situations and are tested on their knowledge about drugs.
