The modules stand on their own; however, the films and videotapes module may be used as a companion to each of the other resource modules. This module includes a very brief selection of key reference materials for educators. Films and videotapes have been reviewed and recommended for purchase. Each film has been evaluated and assigned a rating on a 6-point scale based on scientific accuracy, emotional and visual impact, usefulness to the target audience, and effectiveness in assisting people with alcohol and other drug-related decisions. The pamphlets, curricula, teaching kits, and other classroom resources have generally not been evaluated. See NCJ-123194-98 for additional resource directories.
