However, the appeal was not granted based on reasoning regarding the equal rights of women and children to freedom of expression, liberty, security of the person, and equality, but rather on the concept of public interest policy and gender nonspecific social control. The issue of "fairness" of such a nondisclosure policy is also reviewed.
