The Texas Adult Probation Commission (TAPC) obtained names of services and programs used by probation offices within each county across the State. The administrators of these services and programs were asked to provide information for the directory. The information provided for each service included a description of the services provided, whether the service focuses on a particular client population, presence of a waiting list, average length of treatment, existence of contractual relations with the local probation office, average cost of services, presence of sliding scale payment plans, presence of restrictions on insurance acceptance, procedures for providing progress reports, and procedures that probation offices must follow to refer clients to the service.
