The directory is intended to help policymakers and agencies to identify sources of State criminal justice information and to learn about current activities in other states. The information is grouped into 36 issues, including police, courts, several aspects of corrections, substance abuse, juvenile delinquency, victim issues, crime prevention, case processing, specific types of crimes, and public attitudes. For each State, projects related to each issue are described in terms of their purpose and content, data sources, date of completion, agency, and contact person and telephone number.
